As we are used to, even the current one is not an exciting season for the New York Knicks. Yet, despite this, the Knicks will be represented by a player in the upcoming All-Star Weekend. RJ Barrett was named to the World Team for the NBA Rising Stars game on February 14, the first night of the league’s three-day mid-season showcase event in Chicago.
RJ Barret will join international stars such as Luka Doncic (Slovenia) and Deandre Ayton (Bahamas) on the world team against a United States team with rookie companions such as Zion Williamson and Ja Morant and Atlanta’s second year guard Trae Young. This season, Barrett is averaging 14.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game over 41 appearances.
