Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard made sure Houston Rockets star Russell Westbrook knew he wasn’t going away when they recently played.
The two players had words with each other in the fourth quarter of their game on Jan. 15.
Before shooting free throws, Westbrook told Lillard, “You can’t guard me.”
Westbrook also said to Lillard, “What playoff seed are you all?”
Lillard responded and ended the debate by saying, “You know I’m the last person you want to see in the playoffs.”
The two teams meet up again tonight, so it will be interesting to see if there is any trash talking back-and-forth again between the two star players.
