Greek international combo guard Vasilis Spanoulis will have to skip the upcoming Eurobasket due to injury.
Spanoulis had to leave Greece NT training camp yesterday after being in pain during the previous days. After getting examined it was decided he should get a surgery on his adductor muscle, something which will keep him out for a while.
His injury will give national coach Elias Zouros a headache regarding the point guard position as after Diamantidis and Papaloukas retirement, Nick Calathes is also doubtful for the tournament.
