Anadolu Efes reinforces front line with Batista

In their fifth addition of the off-season Anadolu Efes has signed Uruguayan international Esteban Batista.

The rumours for the move were circulating for days and today the Turkish club made it official after the player passed his medicals.

The former Caja Laboral player signed a three-years deal and it’s rumoured that Efes paid a 1M euros release clause to get him to Istanbul. Batista had great stats in last edition of ACB with Fuenlabrada but he couldn’t quite fit Caja Laboral’s playing style after his in-season move.

Anadolu Efes has also made an offer for Marcelinho Huertas, while they have previously signed Stanko Barac as well.
