Following the end of the eighth round of the EuroLeague, six teams are on top of the standings with identical records (6-2).

Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Khimki, Armani Milano, Anadolu Efes, Barcelona and CSKA Moscow are the six teams that share the first place in the competition.

Friday’s action saw CSKA Moscow, Olympiacos, ASVEL Villeurbanne and Valencia earn impressive victories over their opponents.

The Muscovites (6-2) dominated Fenerbahce (2-6) at home (88-70), in another classic derby between the two EuroLeague powerhouses.

For their part, the “Reds” rallied past Zalgiris Kaunas at Piece and Friendship Stadium (83-74), with both teams now having identical records (3-5).

In Belgrade, ASVEL (5-3) came back from a double-digit deficit (36-26) and edged Crvena Zvezda (2-6) in overtime (72-74), claiming the first road win of the season.

In the final match of the night, Valencia (2-6) decimated Bayern Munich (3-5) at home (82-56) and earned its second win in the competition.
