Gist found positive in antidoping control

One of Fenerbahce Ulker’s new signing, James Gist, was found positive in an antidoping control.

The official announcement by Serbian Antidoping Agency reads as follows:

Gist James had AAF for Carboxy THC. He was tested during match between BC Partizan and BC Hemofarm, in Belgrade, on 1.6.2011. He waived sample B analysis. Sanction for this is in range between reprimand and two-year period of ineligibility.

For those unfamiliar with antidoping, THC is… cannabis.
