Spencer Lifts Budivelnyk To Win The Ukraine Championship

Dewarick Spencer scored 7 points in the last 5 minutes of Game 7 of the Ukraine Superleague Championship and 20 points within just 18 minutes of total play to allow the visitors Budivelnyk to overcame a 9-point deficit at halftime and deliver them the Ukraine Superleague Championship.

Spencer came up big for Budivelnyk in the third stanza to keep the Kyiv outfit within striking distance of the first place club Donetsk. Then Spencer fired 7 points in a row midway through the fourth quarter to give the visitors a 61:60 lead and his club never lost the lead from there. After winning the French Championship in 2008 this is the second Championship for Spencer who is known to be one of the best scorers all over europe.
