Maccabi Tel Aviv came on top against Olympiacos last night (65-90) at Peace and Friendship Stadium, with Tyler Dorsey having the best showing on court with 19 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.

That was a special moment for the young sharpshooter, who made his top performance in the EuroLeague so far against one of the best teams from Greece.

Tyler Dorsey talked to Talkbasket.net for this special moment and the great defensive performance that carried his team to its fourth straight victory.

Q: Fourth straight win for your team, what were the key elements to reach to this win, in your opinion?

A: I think (that) in the second half, we shut them down. We got so many stops in the row and that led us in our offense making the right reads in transition, getting easy buckets. Defensively we was great, that was one of the best halfs we had all year.

Q: Your first game in Greece and your first one against a Greek team. How it feels coming back here?

A: It feels good just to be back and have a good game, you know still a lot of people support me (here), just having fans and being here is like a second home to me. I come every summer since I was in high-school so it feels good to get the win and we had to continue this. This one feels special, I know, definitely for me and my coach (Giannis Sfairopoulos).

Q: What do you believe you can achieve with this Maccabi team this year in the EuroLeague?

Α: The sky is the limit, it’s too early in this season to tell you that we gonna do something. We played six games so I can give you a better answer maybe later on in the season. It’s too early, but we playing well, we got a streak going and we (have to) keep the momentum going.
