Fox’s Chris Broussard thinks the Los Angeles Lakers signing big man Dwight Howard, who still has a deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, is a low-risk move:

“I talked to an executive who had Dwight Howard in the past few years and he couldn’t get rid of Howard fast enough. He said it’d be a bad move by the Lakers to sign Dwight. But I’m going to disagree: I think it’s a low-risk potentially solid reward move,” Broussard said.

Howard missed most part of the 2018-19 season owing to injuries, averaging 12.8 points along with 9.2 rebounds per game. As a Laker, he averaged 17.1 points, 12.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per contest in the 2012-13 season.
