The Spanish National Team under Head Coach Sergio Scariolo will have to deal without yet another regular in the recent years. Berni Rodriguez will not go to Poland since he has not fully recovered from injury.
Berni's position in the squad is to be covered either by Saul Blanco or by Carlos Suarez. Antonio Bueno was also called up to supplement in the preparation before Pau Gasol joins the selection.
