Tony Parker confirmed that he has been called back to the United States to be examined by franchise doctors of the San Antonio Spurs about the sprained right ankle he suffered in the game against Austria.
"San Antonio asked me to return to be seen by doctors at the franchise. I sincerely do not understand this decision after all the tests carried out jointly by the doctors from the France team and the Spurs.
I regret what has happened. I am compelled to follow the orders of my team, but I hope to return soon to play with the France team." said Parker.
