Croatia beats Germany

ImageIn the international tournament's final, held in Bamberg, Germany, Croatia beat the hosts 65-73. Croatia was leading throughout the game (49-64 after the third quarter) and managed to hold on to their lead as Germany's last quarter effort to steal the win was too short.

Mario Kasun came up strong for the winners, having 13 points and 6 rebounds. He was followed by Davor Kus who had 12 points while Roko-Leni Ukic and Nikola Vujcic had 10 each.

Germany saw Yassin Idbihi with 16 points, Jan-Hendrik Jagla added 10 and Tim Ohlbrecht had 12 points and 8 rebounds.
