In an international tournament taking place in Bamberg, Germany beat FYROM with 78-77 and Croatia prevailed over Poland 80-74 infront of 4000 fans.
The young German team was led by Robin Benzing and Heiko Schaffartzik who had 13 each. Jan Jagla added 11 and Elias Harris another 10.
Vrbica Stefanov scored 22 points for the guests, with Darius Washington adding 11, Pero Antic 10 and Jeremiah Massey 7.
In the other game Davor Kus led the Croatians with 20 points while Marin Rozic added 13, and Roko-Leni Ukic and Marko Banic another 10 each.
For Eurobasket 2009 hosts Poland, Maciej Lampe scored 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds and Michal Chylinski added 11.
