Khimki leader Alexey Shved praised Janis Timma for his overall performance with the Russian club in the VTB League.
Here is what the Russian guard told Izvestia:
“Janis has become a very important player for Khimki. He has a great shot, so I’m always looking for him. He is able to score 8/10 three-pointers. I wish he would stay with us next season.
It is clear that without him it will be much harder in the final but we don’t intend to give up before the game. On the paper, CSKA is the favorite but everything will be decided on the court.”
Timma will miss the VTB League Finals due to a broken toe.
