The Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo says the Toronto Raptors’ Marc Gasol and Kawhi Leonard helped him to become a better player, per The Athletic:
“Thank you, because Gasol and Kawhi made me a better player. I’m not trying to be sarcastic. I’m being honest. They’re going to push me to be better. You gotta use this year as motivation. You cannot just come here and mope around.”
This regular season, Antetokounmpo averaged 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 blocks, while shooting at 58 percent from the field.
