The Warriors swept the Blazers; reached their fifth straight NBA Finals

The Golden State Warriors edged the Portland Trail Blazers in overtime (117-119), swept the series (4-0) and advanced to their fifth straight NBA Finals.

The two-time defending champions came back from a 17-point deficit late in the third quarter (95-78) and outscored their opponents 16-24 to force an overtime (111-111).

In the extra period, Damian Lillard had the opportunity to give his team the win, but missed the three-pointer at the buzzer and the Warriors escaped from Portland with the victory.

Stephen Curry (37 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists) and Draymond Green (18 points, 14 boards, 11 assists) posted impressive double-double for the winners.

Meyes Leonard (30 points), Lillard (28 points) and CJ McCollum (26 points) combined for 84 points for the losing squad.

Golden State won the Western Conference title for a fifth straight year.
