Real Madrid triumphed in the EuroLeague third-place game

In a rematch of the 2018 EuroLeague Championship Game, Real Madrid crushed Fenerbahce and finished third in the competition (75-94).

The “Whites” made a great start (9-22), but the Turks came back and outscored their opponents 24-14 in the second quarter to end the first half in front by two (40-38).

With Fenerbahce having the lead until the middle of the third quarter (61-58), Real Madrid exploded and went on a 2-26 run to bring its lead back to double digits and cruise to an easy victory (63-84).

Four players scored in double digits for the winners, with Gustavo Ayon having a game-high 23 points.

Kostas Sloukas and Melih Mahmutoglu were the best players of the losing squad, with 17 points (and six assists) and 14 points, respectively.
