Real Madrid came back from a double-digit deficit and defeated Breogan at home (94-89) in the “Whites” first game since their qualification to the Final Four.
Breogan led by 10 in the first half (34-44), but Real turned things around and was in front by 10 at the end of the third quarter (72-62). The visitors attempted to make a come-back, but the hosts stood tall and sealed the deal.
Rudy Fernandez and Facundo Campazzo led the winners with 17 points apiece, whereas Lucio Redivo had a game-high 19 points for the losing squad.
Real Madrid improved to 22-6 and remained alive in the battle of the first place. Breogan dropped to 9-20 and is still close to the relegation zone.
