Athens based club of Peristeri announced the official signing of Spencer Nelson and Gary Wilkinson today, via their official website.
Nelson has arrived in Athens at midnight via Paris from United States and stated that both his wife and himself wanted to return to Greece (he played for Aris Thessaloniki last season). Nelson has great European experience as he has previously played for Bamberg, Benetton Treviso, Fortitudo Bologna and Aris thessaloniki, as aforementioned.
Wilkinson arrived today and stated: "I am ready for a new start in a competitive league. I want to work hard and help my new team to achieve its targets. Things didn't work out for me in Korea as the coach didn't trust me much."
The two players were brought in to replace William Lee Daniels and shaun Pruit who were released some days ago for poor fermance.
