The Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum suffered a left leg injury in the Blazers’ 108-103 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.

Per ESPN: “I don’t have a lot of information besides it’s painful. I didn’t hear anything pop. It was just an immediate discomfort and pain. It was an uncomfortable feeling. You never want to leave the court like that, but it happens,” McCollum said.

The 27-year-old player will be re-examined in a week.

This season, McCollum is averaging 21.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game, while shooting at 38% from 3-point range.
