Andorra edged Unics Kazan at home (86-80) to remain perfect in the Top 16 (2-0) and put an end to the Russians’ seven-game winning streak.

Unics made a great start to the game (0-12), but Andorra quickly took control of the game and had a 12-point lead early in the second half (54-42).

Yet, the Russians went on a 6-21 run to turn things around (60-63). The hosts reacted and brought the lead back to double digits (79-69) to seal the deal, despite the visitors’ late effort to come back (79-74, 81-77).

Andrew Albicy and John Shurna were the best players of the winners, with 21 and 12 points, respectively.

Regular Season MVP Pierria Henry had 17 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals for the losing squad, as Melvin Ejim added 15 points.

Andorra remained undefeated in the Top 16 (2-0), whereas Unics Kazan dropped to 1-1.

In the other matches, Zenit St Petersburg dominated Cedevita (98-84), Valencia defeated Limoges (74-79), Monaco survived Rytas Vilnius (75-70) and Partizan rallied past ALBA Berlin (78-66).
