The Golden State Warriors have been in free fall lately and suffered their ninth loss this season, as the Detroit Pistons beat them at home (111-102).

The hosts led by as many as 14 points in the game and endured the defending champions’ attempt to make a come-back and “steal” the victory. Consequently, they prevailed over GSW and handed their opponents another loss.

Six players scored in double figures for the winners, as Blake Griffin had a team-high 26 points.

On the other hand, Kevin Durant (28 points), Klay Thompson (21 points) and Stephen Curry (27 points) combined for 76 points, yet they couldn’t lead their team to the win.

The Pistons improved to 13-7, whereas the Warriors dropped to 15-9.
