Partizan and FMP lead 1-0

PartizanPartizan made an easy win over Red Star (93:73) in the first match of the Serbian semifinal play-off series. It was the 100th win for the black&whites over the "eternal rival", thanks to the stellar performance by Nikola Pekovc (26 pts) and great outside shooting by Uros Tripkovic (18 pts).

Marko Lekic scored 13 points for Red Star who has a lot ofproblems with the injurioes of captain Tadija Dragicevic and Bojan Bakic. Partizan led with double digits after the first period and never looked back, although Red Star made a good run in the third period and came close (58:52), but Vujosevic team made a 22-4 run to seal the victory.

FMP defeated Hemofarm in the second semifinal (92:81). Zoran Erceg scored 28 points, Bojan Krstovic aded 19 and thez combined for 7-7 3 point shooting. Panthers lead 12 points in the second period, than 18 in the third and made a comfortable win. Vladan Vukosavljevic and Nebojsa Joksimovic scored 18 points apiece for Hemofarm.

Games number 2 will be played on friday night, with Red Star and Hemofarm as hosts. If necesseary third games are scheduled for monday.
