Damir Markota joined Bilbao midseason and has proven to be one of the key parts in the club's successful season. Now the player agreed on a one-year extension of his contract.
The 23-year old, 210cm tall forward averaged 7.2 points and 3.1 rebounds with 3-point percentage of 55.9 in 17 minutes of play with Bilbao last season.
Markota also holds the Swedish passport and he was recently operated in the left hand. He is expected to start the season with no injury problems.
