Anadolu Efes’ Zoran Dragic will miss the remainder of the season after suffering an ACL tear on his right knee during Sunday’s Turkish Cup final.
It’s a desperately unfortunate injury for Slovenian international Dragic, who suffered the same twist of fate last season on the right leg, whilst playing for Olimpia Milano.
His absence is a huge blow, who despite not having any real chance of making the EuroLeague playoffs, where they currently sit at the bottom of the pile, but after winning the Turkish Cup over the weekend against Tofas, the Istanbul club is aiming for the Turkish League title.
In 14 EuroLeague games, Dragic has averaged 10.6 points and 2.7 assists a game.
