Saski Baskonia SAD (Caja Laboral) and Walter Herrmann have reached a mutual agreement to terminate the contract of the Argentina international player.
As rumoured days ago and after the arrival of Nemanja Bjelica with a long term contract, who will be covering the shooting forward position, and the failure to negotiate a release with Lior Eliyahu Hermann was the one called to terminate his contract.
The reasons were his poor performance during last season (averaging a humble 5.2 points in 15 minutes of playing time), his age (31 years old) and the player’s desire to return to NBA.
Caja Laboral thanked the player for his services to the club and wished him all the best in his new career station.
