Bamberg close its roster with Terry

German champions Brose Baskets have closed their roster for next year by signing American forward Reyshawn Terry to a 1-year contract.

Bamberg was aiming at a quality player who would be able to cover both the shooting forward and power forward and Terry is exactly that kind of player. The rumours about Terry and Bamberg had started days ago in various internet forums and was reported in the TalkBasket “European signing and rumours” page.

Although a bit short for a power forward he is extremely athletic, as he has proved in tough leagues such as the Spanish ACB and Greek A1. Terry was picked at No14 of the 2nd round of 2007 NBA Draft but never played in NBA.

Instead he started his European career for Aris Thessaloniki playing in Euroleague and later on moved to Italy and Spain. Last seaosn he averaged 12.1 points and 4.9 rebounds for Xacobeo in ACB.
