Panathinaikos’ Matt Lojeski had to go to the locker-room during the second quarter of Sunday’s 94-74 win against AEK Athens with pains in his foot.

The Belgian international seemed hurt on his way to the bench and was soon after taken to the locker-room in the latter stages of the second period.

The first estimations show that Lojeski might suffer from plantar fasciitis, though further evaluation is expected later on in the week.

The injury comes at a bad time as Panathinaikos prepare for a double EuroLeague game week, starting with a road game against Fenerbahce on Wednesday, followed by a big home game against leaders CSKA Moscow on Friday.

Lojeski is averaging 6.8 points a game for Panathinaikos, shooting 46.7 percent from three-point land.
