The NBA acknowledged that Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo did indeed have a foot out of bounds before his game-winning basket against the Oklahoma City Thunder that resulted in a 97-95 win.

The league released its Last Two Minute Report for the game played on Friday, as it ruled the out-of-bounds decision as an “incorrect non-call.”

Westbrook, who originally tied the game with five seconds left had a chance to give OKC the win at the buzzer, but his three-point shot was off the mark, ending the Thunder’s six-game winning run.

“I guess we’ll see something on the ticker that says referees missed that one,” Thunder’s Carmelo Anthony said post-game. “We can’t do nothing about that at this point, so we might as well forget about it and move on and get ready for—who we play Sunday? Dallas? Get ready for Dallas.”

The officiating crew chief Derrick Stafford explained to a pool reporter that the referees couldn’t review the play in question since there wasn’t an initial call made in the first place.

“In any reviewable matter, there has to be a whistle call on the floor,” Stafford said via Erik Horne of the Oklahoman. “There was no whistle blown for the play, so we couldn’t review it.”

The call was the subject of criticism, especially post-game where Paul George of the Thunder voiced his view on Twitter.
