A lot has been written in the last couple of days in Greek media regarding an interest of Panathinaikos about Aleks Maric, upon the departure of Nikola Pekovic. As the General Manager of Partizan, Dragan Todoric, stated to Serbian newspaper Novosti, he has not been contacted by the Greek club.
“If they contact us, we will talk about it” he concluded.
Panathinaikos are in desperate need of a center as Nikola Pekovic is leaving for the NBA and Mike Batiste is still uncertain as he has received tempting offers by Real Madrid and Efes Pilsen.
