After weeks of speculation, Indiana Pacers have agreed to trade superstar Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder with Lithuanian international Domantas Sabonis one of the players exchanged.

Victor Oladipo is the other player announced in the deal with both him and Sabonis going to the Pacers.

George had been linked to several teams since, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets and most notably the Los Angeles Lakers, a location that looked to have suited the guard given that he is a California native.

While George moves from the Eastern Conference to the West, Sabonis moves the other way as he looks to reinvent himself in Indiana.

In his rookie season last year with the Thunder, Sabonis averaged 5.9 points and 3.6 rebounds a game. He also represented Lithuania at Eurobasket 2015 and the Rio 2016 Olympics.
