James Gist wants to remain with Panathinaikos. And to prove that his loyalty to the Greek Giants, the American is willing to go one step further.
Gist, 30-years-old has opted to get a Greek passport just so he can stay in Athens.

Gist has enjoyed spells with Fenerbahce and Unicaja Malaga before moving to Panathinaikos in 2012. He was a second round pick in the 2008 NBA Draft where he was selected by the San Antonio Spurs.
