Former Boston Celtics big man Dino Radja believes that Ante Zizic made the right decision by remaining in Europe this season.
Zizic caused shockwaves across the European basketball fraternity with a 37-point, 20-rebound performance against MZT Skopje in the Adriatic League, while playing for KK Cibona.
But despite some impressive showings. The 19-year-old’s decision not to rush his almost certain NBA future.
“There is no need to rush for Ante, I believe he made a smart choice by staying in Europe for another season, Radja told FIBA.com. “He needs to become NBA ready, otherwise it would be really hard for him to earn his playing time overseas.”
No doubt Zizic will be more than ready with a another two seasons in Europe.
