Partizan adds Robert Franks

Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade announced the signing of American forward-center Robert Franks on Friday, October 23, adding the 30-year-old to its roster during the 2026-27 season. Franks becomes Partizan’s second addition of the campaign after the Serbian club announced Antonio Reeves’ signing earlier in the week.

The 201-centimeter Franks was born in Seattle in 1996 and began his professional career in 2019 after playing college basketball for Washington State University. He reached the NBA in 2021, appearing in seven games for the Orlando Magic and averaging 6.1 points and 2.0 rebounds in 14.4 minutes per game.

Franks also won an NBA G League championship with Orlando’s development team in 2021. His professional career has since taken him to Australia, Israel, Japan and China. He played for the Brisbane Bullets and Adelaide 36ers in Australia, Israeli club Gilboa Galil, Japan’s Nagoya Diamond Dolphins and Ibaraki Robots, and Nanjing in China before joining Partizan.

The forward-center spent the previous two seasons with Ibaraki in Japan’s top division. In 2025-26, he averaged 17.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 53 games, shooting 49.2% from the field and 40.3% from three-point range. He also converted 75.2% of his free throws while playing 31.7 minutes per game.

Franks had similar scoring production in 2024-25, averaging 15.9 points and 7.5 rebounds in 58 appearances. Across those two seasons, he established himself as a regular contributor in Japan, combining perimeter shooting with rebounding and playmaking.

Partizan enters the latest EuroLeague round with a 4-3 record, sitting 11th in the standings after seven games. Carlik Jones leads the team with 16.4 points and 5.9 assists per game, while Lamar Stevens averages 11 points and Tonye Jekiri contributes 10.2 points per contest.
