Real Madrid captain Sergio Llull added another historic achievement to his career on Sunday, making his 700th appearance in Spain’s Liga ACB during a commanding 119-84 victory over Surne Bilbao Basket.

The 38-year-old guard celebrated the milestone with an impressive offensive performance, scoring 19 points in just 12 minutes of action.

Llull connected on five of his nine attempts from beyond the arc, while also converting one two-point field goal and two free throws.

The veteran has now played 689 of his 700 Liga ACB games with Real Madrid, establishing himself as the club’s all-time leader in league appearances.

Former Madrid big man Felipe Reyes occupies second place on the club’s list with 619 appearances.

Llull joined Real Madrid in 2007 and has remained with the Spanish powerhouse ever since, becoming one of the most successful players in the organization’s history.

After signing a contract extension during the summer, the Spanish guard entered his 20th season with Madrid.

Throughout his career with the club, Llull has collected 30 trophies, including three EuroLeague championships, one FIBA Intercontinental Cup, nine Spanish League titles, seven Copa del Rey trophies and nine Spanish Super Cups.

His latest achievement came during another convincing Madrid victory, with the hosts overwhelming Bilbao by 35 points.

Theo Maledon was named Player of the Game after contributing 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists, finishing with an efficiency rating of 24.

The victory also saw Real Madrid establish a new club record by making 20 three-pointers in a single game.
