The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed forward Buddy Boeheim to an Exhibit 10 contract, Clemente Almanza reported on Sunday, October 17.
Boeheim, 26, spent most of the 2025-26 season with the Oklahoma City Blue, the Thunder’s G League affiliate. He shot 39.1% from the field, 37.2% from three-point range and 84.2% from the free-throw line in 18 games.
He also appeared in four NBA games for Oklahoma City, averaging 1.5 points in four minutes per game while shooting 33.3% from the field and from beyond the arc.
The signing brings Boeheim back into the Thunder organization after he averaged 12.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 40 games for the Blue during the 2024-25 season. He improved his scoring, rebounding and playmaking numbers in his second season with the team.
Boeheim played college basketball at Syracuse, where he developed into a high-volume scorer. In his senior season in 2021-22, he averaged 19.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 32 games, shooting 40.6% from the field and 34.1% from three-point range.
He went undrafted in 2022 and began his professional career with the Detroit Pistons. He appeared in 10 NBA games across two seasons with Detroit, while also playing for the Motor City Cruise in the G League.
An Exhibit 10 contract is a training-camp deal that can provide a player with a path to a team’s G League affiliate. Oklahoma City can evaluate Boeheim during training camp as it continues to shape its roster for the 2026-27 season.
The Thunder have made several roster changes since reaching the Western Conference finals in 2026, including trading Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins and Luguentz Dort during the offseason.
