Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault praised the day-to-day demeanor of rookie Bennett Stirtz following Wednesday’s 128-126 preseason home loss vs. the Milwaukee Bucks (20 points/2 offensive rebounds/3 defensive rebounds/2 assists/one turnover/one steal/6-11 FG/4-7 3-PT/4-6 FT in 22 minutes off the bench).

“He’s incredibly mature and professional, well beyond his years. He’s very serious. He really thinks the game, understands the game. And so, he’s got a presence to him because of that. He’s an adult, so that’s gonna serve him well. Professionalism is kind of an underrated quality that you need to have to be a good professional basketball player, and he’s got it. He’s walking in the door with it.”
