Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero thinks very highly of Wendell Carter Jr.’s versatile defense.

“That’s something that I’ve seen him continue to work on over the years is just his defense, pick-and-roll coverage, switching. He actually puts the time in to get better at it. I think he’s one of the better big defenders in the NBA. If you need him to switch, he can switch. If you need him to play in coverage and stay back, he can do that. Be up to touch, you know? Any coverage that you ask him to do, he’s pretty suitable to do it.”
