Former Golden State Warriors guard Nick Young shared details about Klay Thompson’s dating history following the Miami Heat star’s breakup with rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
Young, who played alongside Thompson during Golden State’s 2017-18 championship season, discussed his former teammate’s relationships during a recent appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast.
“But I think the best thing that [happened to [Thompson] was his breakup, for sure. He needed that,” Young said.
Young suggested that Thompson has had considerable success in his personal life despite his generally reserved personality.
“Klay had the best [dating roster]. The way y’all treat Klay, but his if you look at Klay’s [dating] lineup,” Young added while gesturing with his hands to emphasize the length of Thompson’s dating list.
Sharpe then asked Young about the quality of Thompson’s previous relationships.
“His portfolio nice?” asked Sharpe.

The five-time NBA All-Star was also rumored to have dated singer Coco Jones, who is now engaged to Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell.
Thompson’s most recent relationship with Megan Thee Stallion attracted significant public attention before the couple separated earlier this year.
