Adam Hanga secures strange move to Barcelona

Hungarian Adam Hanga will be joining Barcelona from Laboral Kutxa in a move that involves football players from the Catalan side’s “B” squad.

Barcelona has negotiated quietly with the Vitoria club for a few weeks and they are currently finalising a deal for the buy out. Hanga has one full year left on his contract.

Laboral Kutxa will get enough money and also 2 players from Barcelona’s “B” football team since Josean Querejeta is the owner of both Vitoria based clubs.

As for Hanga, he is expected to sign a two-year contract with Barcelona, which will probably include NBA out summer options, since the Hungarian is drafted by the San Antonio Spurs.

Hanga guided Laboral Kutxa to the EuroLeague Final Four last season, averaging a workman like 8.2 points and 5.1 rebounds a game.
