Demond Mallet honored as legend by FIATC Joventut

Demond Mallet who at age 38 continues to play at a high level was publicly honored with a life-sized banner and retirement of his jersey by the club for which he won the 2008 ULEB Cup Championship with in FIATC Joventut. Mallet who has had a storied playing career playing in both the Eurocup and Euroleague for multiple teams, winning two German Championships, one German Cup, one Belgium Championship, and the prestigious Spanish Kings Cup will decide whether to retire or play one more season this summer. Mallet has a contract to coach next season in Joventut. He scored 23 points with 4 assists in this season’s final game.
