Ioannis Bourousis wins Liga Endesa MVP for Laboral Kutxa

Tucked away in a corner of the Mercedes Benz Arena, the Laboral Kutxa fans in unison called for Ioannis Bourousis to be MVP.

The Greek veteran might not have won MVP honours in the Euroleague, but he has today been named the Liga Endesa MVP for the 2015-16 season after leading Baskonia to a 24-10 record in the league but more importantly home court advantage in the Playoffs.

Bourousis averaged 12.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game for an average of 18.9 in the index rating this season as he becomes the sixth Laboral Kutxa player to win the MVP award after Kenny Green, Andres Nocioni, Luis Scola, Tiago Splitter and Fernando San Emeterio.
