Olympiacos signs Tyson Ward

Olympiacos Piraeus has completed its first offseason acquisition by signing American swingman Tyson Ward to a two-year contract, the club announced Wednesday.

Ward, 27, joins the Greek powerhouse after a strong debut EuroLeague campaign with Paris Basketball, where he averaged 11.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, and a performance index rating of 11.3 across 38 games.

His contributions helped Paris reach the EuroLeague Playoffs for the first time and capture both the French League and French Cup titles during the 2024–25 season.

Ward’s consistency and two-way play were key assets for Paris, which also won the 2024 EuroCup and the French Leaders Cup. In 23 EuroCup games, he averaged 11.0 points while shooting 86.8% from the free-throw line, as Paris finished with a 22–1 record in the competition.

Before joining the French club, Ward played in Germany with s.Oliver Wurzburg and Telekom Baskets Bonn, where he was instrumental in the team’s 2023 Basketball Champions League championship.

Olympiacos finished the 2024–25 EuroLeague regular season atop the standings with a 24–10 record, edging out champions Fenerbahce and Panathinaikos for the No. 1 seed.
