Dallas Mavericks guard Max Christie recently touched on what it will take for noise about the team to dissipate following the Luka Doncic for Anthony Davis trade.

(via Dallas Mavericks):

“I think it takes time, first and foremost. I think time heals all. But if we’re being honest, I think that maybe that cloud, so to speak, will be there for a relatively long period of time just because of the magnitude of everything that has happened within this franchise. So for us as players, we gotta be able to focus on what’s most important, which is the game. And I think what will heal that is only time, but winning obviously is gonna heal that as well. So, that’s our job as players. That’s our job as a franchise, players, coaching staff, front office — that’s our job to put all of us in the best position to be able to do that. That’s always the end goal for any NBA team, especially for us this next upcoming season. I think we’re in a prime position to try and attain that goal for us.”
