Philadelphia 76ers guard Lonnie Walker, who had missed four games while in the concussion protocol, was forced to leave his return game on Friday due to a headache.
As a result, he sat out on Sunday, and it is expected that he will also miss Monday’s game.
Head coach Nick Nurse explained on Sunday, according to Pompey, that Walker “just didn’t feel great,” prompting the decision to take extra precautions and pull him from the game.
Nurse further noted, “So they are going to take a look at him. He’ll be out tonight and tomorrow for sure. Then we will see where we go from there.”
Walker has spent 7 seasons with four teams, including the Spurs and Lakers, averaging 9.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in 333 regular-season appearances.
