Robert Baker Jr., a standout big man and the current president of the G League Players’ Union, is nearing an agreement to join German club ALBA Berlin, according to Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews.com.
Baker, who has spent the current season with the Osceola Magic, recently helped Team USA secure two victories in the AmeriCup qualifiers.
In Sunday’s game against the Bahamas, Baker impressed with a dominant performance, recording 11 points, 10 rebounds, and seven blocks in just 17 minutes of play.
