Cunningham leads Pistons to another blowout win over Bulls

Cade Cunningham scored 29 points as the Detroit Pistons defeated the Chicago Bulls 128-110 on Wednesday, securing their fourth straight victory before the All-Star break.

Tobias Harris and Ausar Thompson each contributed 19 points, while Jalen Duren dominated inside with 16 points and 14 rebounds.

Detroit completed back-to-back routs of Chicago after winning 132-92 the night before, when they set a franchise record with a 42-point halftime lead.

The Bulls struggled once again, dropping their 13th game in 16 outings while shooting just 9-for-41 from three-point range.

Ayo Dosunmu led Chicago with 23 points, and Nikola Vucevic recorded a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds.

Coby White had another rough night, finishing with just seven points on 2-for-14 shooting after a 2-for-13 performance on Tuesday.

The game remained competitive early, tied at 57 late in the second quarter, but the Pistons seized control with a 25-4 run that put them up 82-61 in the third.

Detroit outscored Chicago 68-48 in the paint while shooting 51.1% from the field.

Malik Beasley provided a spark off the Pistons’ bench with 14 points on four three-pointers, while Isaiah Stewart added 12 points.

Dennis Schroder and Simone Fontecchio also contributed, with Schroder tallying four assists and Fontecchio chipping in six points.

The Bulls’ bench saw Tre Jones score 15 points on 5-for-7 shooting, and Jalen Smith added 11 points with five rebounds.

The Pistons’ recent success has pushed them over the .500 mark at 29-26, while the Bulls fell to 22-33.
