Portland Trail Blazers big man Deandre Ayton left Monday night’s game against the Denver Nuggets due to an apparent injury to his left calf. Following the incident, Ayton underwent an MRI on Tuesday, which confirmed that he has sustained a strain in his left calf muscle.
As a result of the injury, Ayton is expected to be sidelined for the time being and will be re-evaluated in four weeks to assess his progress and determine his readiness to return to the court.
