The Indiana Pacers have added Cole Swider to their roster with a one-year, non-guaranteed contract, per NBA insider Shams Charania.
Swider, a free agent guard, showcased strong performances during the Summer League for the Miami Heat.
He averaged 13.5 points and shot 49.1 percent from beyond the arc, attempting nearly seven three-pointers per game.
This past season, the 25-year-old played 18 games for the Miami Heat, averaging 2.3 points in 4.8 minutes per game.
Swider also had a notable stint with the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the G League, where he averaged 24.9 points and 8.6 rebounds across 14 games.
The non-guaranteed deal gives Swider a chance to secure a spot on the Pacers’ final roster through training camp and preseason performances.
