Jazz sign forward Micah Potter

The Utah Jazz have signed forward Micah Potter to a two-way contract, according to NBA insider Michael Scotto.

Potter, who was a member of the Team USA Select Team this summer, has previously spent two seasons with the Jazz.

Following an undrafted status in the 2021 NBA Draft, Potter signed with the Miami Heat and was later affiliated with the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

He briefly joined the Detroit Pistons on a 10-day contract in December 2021 before returning to Sioux Falls.

Potter joined the New York Knicks for the 2022 NBA Summer League before inking a two-way deal with the Jazz in October 2022.

Last season, Potter played 16 games for the Jazz, averaging 3.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 11.6 minutes per game.

In the G League, Potter excelled with the Salt Lake City Stars, posting averages of 15.5 points and 9.1 rebounds across 28 games.

Potter and Fenerbahce’s Nigel Hayes-Davis were selected to the USA Basketball Select Team to prepare for the 2024 Olympics.
